
Volunteer Service
The service we will offer is an opportunity for each volunteer to participate for two weeks to one month in one of the four departments needed to run and preserve the Rainmaker Conservation Project. They will also have the opportunity to work with the local school and various needed community outreach programs that will be established by the Rainmaker Foundation. The fee to be a VolunTour at Rainmaker will be $2500 for one month and $1250 for two weeks.
Departments:

A. Maintenance
Maintenance is defined as general upkeep of the property to include the canopy walkway, trail system, rancho, housing, and infrastructure pertaining to the property. Number of volunteers needed can vary from two to four depending on the month of the year.
B. Landscaping
Landscaping is defined as the general upkeep of all floral esthetics

pertaining to the Rainmaker Property. This will include, a butterfly garden, tropical flower cutting gardens, vegetable garden, lawn maintenance, tree care, and reintroduction of flora species (i.e. orchids) into the nature trails. A catalog of floral species pertaining to the indigenous plants found on the Rainmaker property shall be created. Number of volunteers needed can vary from four to six depending on the month of the year.
C. Food Preparation
Food Preparation is defined as the making of all foods provided to the visitors and Volunteers. Volunteers will be in charge of cooking a balanced and nutritious meal to include foods that will provide energy and stamina.

Volunteers maybe placed in one or more departments depending on Rainmaker’s need. The volunteer will also spend time with the small community that lies at it’s base. Working with the local school, volunteers will spend 3 hours or more a week assisting the teachers or working with the general upkeep of the school.
Fees
The fee to be a VolunTour at Rainmaker will be $2500 for one month and $1250 for two weeks.
